Jessica is a 12 year old rider who enjoys show jumping and eventing. Fuchsia Media has been sponsoring Jessica since 2022.
When I first met Jessica, she had a beautiful grey pony called George. They had an amazing partnership together. Jessica's Mum (Gemma) has now found a beautiful new pony called Rupert. They are currently building up their relationship and training before they start competing together. I have had the pleasure of seeing Rupert out competing with Jessica's Mummy, so I am excited to see this new partnership in action soon.
A MESSAGE FROM JESSICA...
Hello, my name is Jessica Hart and I’m 12 years old. I’ve been riding since I was 6 months old in a basket saddle. This summer we said goodbye to George who I have been riding for the last 4 years. I am very lucky as I’ve been given the ride on the lovely Albie who is a 12.2, 17 year old pony.
I like to compete mainly in jumping and dressage, however this year I want to try to do some working hunter classes.
I’m aiming to compete albie at 60/70cm and hope to qualify him for trail blazers and the sunshine tour.
My mum has bought a lovely young 14.2hh who she will event and bring on for me to hopefully take over in the future. Rupert sustained a field injury in December 2023, so he has spent the last year being rehabbed. My mum wants to aim him at the Cotswold cup events, and the end dream is Badminton Grassroots …. Hopefully I will be big enough to take him on after that!!!!
