ABOUT US

My name is Ruth and I am the owner of Fuchsia Media, based in South West UK. I am married to my amazing husband Dickie, who is in the Army, and in 2023 we welcomed our beautiful daughter, nicknamed Figgy. We also have two black Labradors, Mortdecai and Hastings, who quite often feature on our social media pages. Fuchsia Media is very much a family run business with Figgy, Dickie and my parents usually helping at events.

I have grown up around dogs and horses and thoroughly enjoy being around them and photographing them. I love capturing their unique personalities in timeless images that immortalise the memories - they are, after all, a part of the family.

Whilst I do a lot of portrait photography, I also attend both equine and canine events. I have a super team of photographers that I work alongside, to ensure we capture the best parts of the day. We can also print photos on site too, if requested.

Our most recent addition to our services has been our new content creation packages and social media management. I pride myself on my organisational skills and alongside the photography and videography, I hope that I may ease the pressure off professionals by providing them with a portfolio of new and interesting content, that they can use to build and maintain their social media following and various sponsorships.
